Epic Games has announced a new special collaboration in Fortnite with a worldwide icon. After stars such as Travis Scott, J. Balvin, the NFL or Marvel, the new protagonist is soccer legend, Pelé. The gaming company is joining forces with the Brazilian superstar to bring the world's most popular sport to its smash-hit video game. An upcoming event will provide a special emote based on the Brazilian signature celebration, a unique game mode and new skins (Kickoff set) featuring 23 famous soccer teams from all around the world such as Manchester City, Juventus, Inter Milan, Seattle Sounders and more.

The new emote imitates the famous celebration Pelé did 1,282 times throughout his career, Epic Games says. And the Kickoff sets give the players 10 different variants of male and female Outfits in order to represent their favorite club in-game. These can be swapped to any of the 23 football clubs that have been included.

The Pelé Cup will give to the users the chance of playing a 4vs4 soccer game and obtaining Pelé's Air Punch Emote and the new skins from the Kickoff set. Pelé Cup in Fortnite: when does it start?
Pelé Cup is taking place on January 20. The event will start at 18:00 and will last for three hours until 21:00 (local time of every region)
How to participate in Fortnite Pelé Cup
First of all, as stated by Epic Games, "players must be in good standing with respect to any Epic accounts registered by said player, with no undisclosed violations. Players must also be free of or served fully any penalties from previously breaking any official Epic rules."
They must also be level thirty (30) or above on their Epic account and have enabled the two-factor authentication.
Once these requirements have been met players can access through the Solos tab.
Pelé Cup: scoring system and event prizes
The event will last three hours. During this time, players can participate up to ten matches. They will earn points based on their final position and their performance:
