This is Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s youngest son: Height, age and what does he study?
Barron Trump, the president-elect’s only shared child with wife Melania, has been credited with having a major influence on his father during his election campaign.

Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump, was a “very vocal” influence on his father during the 2024 presidential election campaign, according to the 18-year-old’s mother, Melania Trump.
The only offspring shared by Donald and Melania, Barron helped the 78-year-old president-elect to connect with younger voters on his way to election victory in November, the first lady-to-be says.

“He knows his generation”
“I’m very proud of him about his knowledge, even about politics and giving an advice to his father,” Melania explained in an appearance on the Fox News show Fox & Friends last month (quotes via The Hill).
“He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation, because nowadays the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore. They’re all on the tablets, they’re on the phones, and all of these podcasts and streamers.
“He was very vocal, and he gave an advice to his father, and was incredible how he brought in a success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”
Where does Barron Trump study?
Born in New York City on March 20, 2006, Barron is Melania’s only son, and is the incoming president’s fifth child. In September 2024, he began his first year at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Unlike the typical college student, Barron is not living in the dorm at the NYU campus; instead, he is residing in Trump Tower in Midtown.
Will Barron live in the White House?
Speaking to Fox & Friends last week, Melania confirmed that, while Barron will continue to live in New York, he will have a room at the White House after his father takes office as president, allowing him to “come and visit” with friends.
“Yeah [he can bring his friends with him], whatever he would like to do,” Melania said. “I feel that, the children, we have them till they are like 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly. I always respect Barron’s ‘yes’ and ‘no’ and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.”
Barron Trump’s early life in New York City
As a young boy in New York, Barron attended Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. He stayed in New York to finish out his school year after his father began his first term as president in January 2017, then moved to St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, later that year.
After Trump’s 2020 election defeat to Joe Biden, Barron and his mother moved to Palm Beach, Florida, where he enrolled at the Oxbridge Academy. He graduated with the class of 2024, before beginning his college studies late last year.
Just how tall is Barron Trump?
In recent years, Barron has earned particular media attention for his increasingly towering stature. The teenager is widely estimated to be 6ft 7in, with some reports even making the - seemingly ambitious - claim that he measures as much as 6ft 9in. That’s the same height as the NBA superstar LeBron James.
Speaking in January 2024, the 6ft 3in Trump Sr. said his son’s height is all thanks to Barron’s maternal grandmother, Amalija Knavs.
“That’s how he got so tall; he only ate her food,” Trump said in an address to the Iowa Caucus. “I said, ‘You’re going to be a basketball player.' He said, ‘Well, I like soccer, Dad, actually.’ I thought: ‘At your height, I like basketball better,’ but you can’t talk them into everything.”
When is Trump being sworn in as US president?
The first man to win non-consecutive terms as US president since the 19th century, Donald Trump is to be sworn in as commander-in-chief at around 12 noon ET/9:00 a.m. PT. The ceremony, which US viewers can watch on a host of TV networks and online platforms, will take place inside the Capitol Rotunda.
Although the inauguration is usually held indoors, it has been moved to an indoor location due to the cold weather in Washington, DC.
