The Wild Card Weekend concludes tonight with the NFL’s final game of the first round of the playoffs. The No. 4 Los Angeles Rams will take on the No. 5 Minnesota Vikings. The game, originally set to be played at the Rams' home of SoFi Stadium, has been relocated to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona as a result of the deadly wildfires in L.A.

Announcers and referees for Vikings-Rams

Tonight’s game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN. As such, the play-caller will be Joe Buck, with Troy Aikman providing color commentary. Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge will be bringing coverage from the sidelines.

Along with the ESPN crew, the Manning brothers, Peyton and Eli, will be providing commentary of their own as part of their “ManningCast” show on ESPN2.

To officiate the Vikings-Rams game, John Hussey will be on the field with his crew. Hussey is the head referee in charge of proceedings with additions from the Shawn Hochuli, Tra Blake, and Carl Cheffers crews.

One thing that may stand out to Rams and Vikings fans is Hussey’s clear bias towards the home team. Whether the game being played at a neutral site will have an effect on this bias or not remains to be seen. Hussey’s crew is also noticed to have called much fewer penalties per game than the NFL average, which works in favor of both teams, but more so for the home team, which historically has fewer calls made against them in general by Hussey’s crew.
