The first time has ended with El Salvador taking the early lead.

Two minutes added of stoppage time and El Salvador has the opportunity to score from a free kick.

What a stunner

Unbelievable from Alexander Larín from a very tight angle. Everyone on the pitch thought he was going to cross the ball but he made a left footed shot to find the back of the net.

Alexander Larín caught Ethan Horvath off-guard and from a very tight angle from the left flank, the El Salvador international scores a wonderful goal to give his team the lead. The American goalkeeper thought Larín was going to cross the ball but his shot was so precise that Horvath couldn't prevent the ball from finding the back of the net.

GOL! GOAL! GOLAZO! El Salvador strikes first!

The USMNT answers back. Christian Pulisic gives Haji Wright a through ball, his fifth touch of the night, and the 24-year-old made a powerful shot with his left foot as he entered the box but the ball went wide.

Two great cut-backs from Reyes inside the box to get rid of Brenden Aaronson and his crossed was cleared by an American defender inside the box.

The grass has seen better days

The mud is definitely being a factor in this games as both teams have to deal with the poor weather conditions.

That's Captain America himself

The uniform has seen better days! The field is very muddy and a lot of the players are having a hard time to control the ball.

What a save from Mario Gonzalez! Yunus Musah had a great strike with his left foot following a corner kick and the goalkeeper made an amazing save to prevent the ball from finding the back of the net.

Bryan Tamacas cross from the right flank was cleared by Carter-Vickers and El Salvador gains a corner kick.

Will El Salvador be able to keep this pace? Following a free kick, the ball landed inside the box and before Horvath could scoop it, Tamacas attempted a back heel pass but it was cleared by Carter-Vickers.

Tim Weah attempts a half volley following a great solo play from Christian Pulisic, who went down the left flank and made a cross. Unfortunately the shot from the Lille striker went wide.

The USMNT has changed their formation from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 due to the amount of mud. So Brenden Aaronson moved to the left and the two strikers will be Christian Pulisic and Haji Wright.

The high pressure of El Salvador is paying off in the opening minutes. A second attempt on goal was made from a cross and Nelson Bonilla's header went wide.

Jairo Henríquez attempts a shot from the distance but it goes wide. The first attempt of the the game.

And we are under way! Rainy day in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The Cuscatlán stadium has always been a nightmare for the teams in CONCACAF because of the hostile environment that the fans create during the entire match. The El Salvador national team will host the United States on Tuesday night for matchday six of the Nations League.

The El Salvador national team arrived first to the Estadio Cuscatlán and Nelson Bonilla will wear the captain band against the USMNT.

Christian Pulisic wears the captain band for the 10th time and Ethan Horvath makes his first appearance since June 6, 2021. On the other hand, Haji Wright makes his first start with the USMNT.

Christian Pulisic missed the last game against El Salvador for the World Cup qualifiers back in September due to an injury. Now the Chelsea ace is fit and could start against La Selecta for matchday 6 of the CONCACAF Nations League.

The last meeting between both nations was back in January 27 where a goal in the 57th minute from Antonee Robinson was enough for the USMNT to record the win.

The action at Estadio Cuscatlán in El Salvador gets underway at 10:00 pm (ET) or 7:00 pm (PT) on Thursday.

Hello and welcome to El Salvador vs USMNT, Concacaf Nations League game that will be played Tuesday June 14th at Cuscatlán.
