Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos is clear about the difference between the two protagonists of world football, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and puts the Real Madrid forward on top.
Cristiano drive to the top
Speaking with Fox Sports, the former Real Madrid full-back explained why he sees Cristiano as superior:
"I see him training every day and his work effort and attitude is impressive as is the responsibility he takes on in matches. He is looking to improve every day. That's the difference between him and Messi."
Messi a phenomenon
"Leo [Messi] is a phenomenon and we don't even talk about Neymar, but that side of Cristiano: his training, professionalism, concentration, motivation,... gives him the advantage over others."
