Update:
Hierro's staff: Celades, Calero, Marchena all set for coaching roles

Once Fernando Hierro accepted the role as manager of Spain for the World Cup, he sent out the call to his assistants and they have been rounded up. Albert Celades, current manager of the under-21 team, who was also considered to take charge, will be with Hierro and his assistant at Real Oviedo, Julian Calero, who was filling in as a pundit on Madrid radio, will also leave for Russia too having left his gig for the summer.

Calero was Lopetegui's assistant in Porto and was the Navalcarnero manager during the most recent season in Group 1 of the Segunda B. Sevilla have also made an announcement that Carlos Marchena, a coach at the club, has been given permission to leave the club for the duration of the World Cup to work with Hierro and Spain.

Celades, Calero, Marchena and the manager himself, Hierro, have been confirmed as the coaching staff along with physical trainer, Juan Carlos Martín. Pablo Sanz, his assistant, and Óscar Caro, the physical trainer will make up Real Madrid's backroom staff next season under Lopetegui. It is unclear what will happen with the other members of the technical staff of the National Team who were working alongside Lopetegui: Antolín Gonzalo, who was an opposition scout and analyst under Del Bosque too, along with Ochotorena, the goalkeeping coach.
