The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), which is focused on creating greater public awareness of Good Governance in sports, is presenting female leaders from all corners of the sporting eco-system with a unique opportunity to lead Sport Integrity reform.

Today, the world’s largest coalition in the field of sports governance and integrity has announced the launch of an application process that will see two new female leaders join the SIGA Council. The appointment of these new members will fulfill SIGA’s commitment to gender parity in the composition of its internal organs.

With this process, SIGA is taking affirmative action in their on-going quest to advance good governance in Sport and deliver gender equality, female empowerment and leadership in Sport.

“This is an opportunity for female leaders to answer our call, give a step forward and press for change”, explained SIGA Global CEO, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, before emphasizing the reasons why the Alliance decided to adopt a public process to expand its Council:

SIGA is an open, democratic and independent organization. We deliver what we promise. We walk the talk. We are breaking down barriers, delivering diversity and being inclusive. As a forward-thinking organization, we encourage all women that our vision resonates with to step forward and join us. Our process is clear and transparent. Our doors are open to all that are committed to Sport Integrity."

"We look forward to welcoming you
