The USMNT’s rivals are expected to hail from the Asian Confederation (AFC) given that teams from UEFA, Conmebol and CAF (Africa) will be in involved in official competitions. In Europe, teams will be involved in Euro 2024 Qualifiers, in South America the 2026 World Cup gets underway and in Africa, teams will participate in the 2024 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Well connected journalist Steven Goff, claims that the United States will face their counterparts from Uzbekistan and Oman with the match against the Uzbeks set for Friday, 8 September in City Park (St. Louis City), while the match against the Gulf nation pencilled in for Monday, 11 September at Allianz Field in St. Paul, home of Minnesota United.
Putting the pieces together, it looks like Uzbekistan ~Sept 8 in St Louis and Oman ~Sept 11 in St Paul. With Euro, Conmebol, Concacaf and CAF in official competition, there are few opportunities for friendlies in Sept window. US will play Germany and Ghana in Oct.
