Estados Unidos Update:

Quarterback Matthew Stafford’s future with the Los Angeles Rams appears uncertain, with speculation growing that he may be on his way out.

According to reports, the team has already granted permission for Stafford’s agent to explore potential trade options that would be beneficial for both parties.

Several teams in the NFL are reportedly interested in acquiring an experienced quarterback, including the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Cleveland Browns. Additionally, a contract extension with the Rams remains a possibility.

Stafford’s impressive 2024 record

Last season, Stafford completed 65.8% of his passes for 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, making him an appealing option for quarterback-needy teams.

The Rams originally acquired Stafford from the Detroit Lions before the start of the 2021 season in a trade that sent quarterback Jared Goff to Detroit. In his first season with the Rams, Stafford led the team to victory in Super Bowl LVI.

Looking ahead, the veteran quarterback is reportedly seeking a contract restructure with financial improvements extending through 2026, though he currently has only $4 million in guaranteed money remaining.
